The International Chamber of Shipping is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On behalf of our national associations and our industry we would like to pay tribute to Her Majesty’s lifetime of dedication and inspiration,” Guy Platten, ICS Secretary General, said.
“Over 70 years Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II showed a deep commitment to service and duty to the people of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth. The outpouring of condolences throughout the industry and all around the world is a true testament to how highly respected and regarded Her Majesty reigned. “
“On behalf of all our members and the shipping community, we join together in mourning her passing and wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Royal Family and those close to her,” Guy Platten said.
